Lochie, On the plate on the passenger strut tower the body number doesn't have P510 in front of it, only the six unique numbers for your car. Not all 1600's have the body number actually stamped into the body, beats me why but that's the way they are. Most have the body number stamped on the firewall or on the top of the strut tower, but I saw one at a wreckers once that had it inside the car behind the dash stamped on the cowl - I kid you not, I even checked it against the tag on the strut tower.

I have no number stamped directly into the body on the firewall bit just the metal plate. Should I just give the number which is on both the plates and not worry about the P51 number?
