Hello Leighton, That all depends on what people feel like doing. If someone hits you and it is thier fault, as long as you are not legally obliged to call the police (you can find the regulations in the road users handbook that outline when you have to call the police to the scene), then you dont have to have them charged if you dont want to, but it is up to you. Thats a really nice power to have when you have just bouht a car and a junkie hits you on a roundabout.
