I have used the hacksaw to cut slots across
the blind head bolts and then used a screwdriver to undo them. Not too
hard to do. Just remove the plastic cover and you can get a saw on both
bolts.
I think the suggestion of Eddies would be equally
good.

I've done this several times. Remove all the column cowling
etc so you have good access and use a small chisel and a hammer to get the
snap bolts turning but hitting them at an angle at the edge of the head. I
used a chisel that was round with a flat tip maybe 5mm in diameter. The hard
tip of the chisel can usually cut into one side of the bolt head enough for
you to be able to tap it round. This never seems to fail and leaves the lock
undamaged.
Cheers,
Eddie

Subject: Steering Lock
guys I need to know how to get around the
steering lock on a 200B. A mate of mine has left his in my yard and
has gone interstate for a while, he's taken the keys with him and I'm moving
house this weekend the car has to go by tomorrow arvo, I've got into it and
started it no worries, but how do I stop the steering lock from engaging? I
called the guy who owns the car, he'd prefer if it was done without breaking
it, but he said if there's no other way to just do it. Are there any
tricks to doing it without breaking the locking mechanism or will I have to
break it? if I have to break it, what's
the best way to do it?
