Subject: 1600 for sale

Hey list,
Before I put this car up for sale, I thought I would advertise on the list
to see if anyone interested.

I bought a 1600 recently for a project build up, but have decided on a
datsun sunny instead. Purely due to the lighter weight and better
aerodynamics, as well as the fact that a live rear end is a lot easier to
set up. As a result I want to sell the 1600.
GOOD FOR PROJECT:
It is a 72 four door. At this point in time, it is completely stripped with
all interior accessories and engine bay empty. It is still a rolling shell.
Paint is still on (red), but will need a re-spray. The car has some rust in
the usual places, like the front quarter panels, the sills, and around the
rear wheel arches. Also on the front left interior wheel arch and the
drivers side floor. The right rear has some time in it's life had an
accident, but was professionally repaired and looks good. When painted no
probs. All up a typical 1600. The boot, bonnet are in good nick, with all
interior trim available (for all eight doors) (incl. relatively new carpet),
front grill, all lights and brackets and badges (1600 badges x 4 I think), 4
spare doors, engine running when taken out (original engine to the car with
matching numbers) and 4 speed manual. One dash not the best, another spare
that has been re-upholstered good cond., all the seats, and seat belts.
There is a Holden centre console with gauges modified for 1600 as well.
Includes armrest/liftable storage compartment, hole for gearbox, and gauge
display at the front of it. The boot area has had a new wheel well welded
in. There are four 13" mag rims to go with it, with tyres. Everything is
there to put back together, with in many cases extra parts as well. I have
a garage full of shit for it. All the steel exterior trim is there, front
and rear bumpers are real straight. And the buyer will also get an original
1600 workshop manual for the car.

asking $1000 ono. This price is negotiable to people who come look at the
car, and are serious.
regrettably selling the car, as I would have loved to do it up some time in
the future, but need the money for the sunny coupe.
regards Greg
