Hey Guys,

I have a set of later model Hilux 4 Spot Calipers which i have been
using...the problem im having is when i bleed the braking system the front
calipers are not pushing the pistons far enough out and the system requires
a couple of pumps to get a firm pedal...

1. my theory is that the calipers are designed for a thicker disk (ie
vented) and cannot perform well on the current skyline cross-drilled rotor..

2. My Master Cylinder is undersized and is not moving enough fluid to
activate the calipers properly

Either way i would like a set of vented rotors, used or new.

In the meantime im planning on getting some 4-6 mm Spacers made and putting
them behind the pads to move them closer to the the rotors to get a good
pedal...what are your thoughts on this?

sorry about the Essay

tim

PS the 2 door is almost done! it will be on the road in a short while!
