Dave, I got my one from an early, and seriously butt-ugly 2-door sedan version (ie with notchback and boot). I was told, but cannot confirm, that there are two types of axle that differ in the internal axle diameter and splining. Mybe the second type is from the not-quite-as-butt-ugly late model hatchback.
If you want to use the 720 diff (recommended) then you'll have to investigate, or else get one from an early model. If you know a good U-Pull, I'd recommend getting your stuff from there. When I am not 100% confident, I just get the part I am interested in and test fit it on my type of car! Also, you won't get the hang-on bits if you buy it from a normal wrecker. Aren't cars fun :) Good Luck, Nick > > From: "David Costello" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: H190 AGAIN > Date: 08/04/2002 13:44:27 > To: "Ozdat Mailing List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > before I go buy this Gazelle diff for my stanza I better check > > is there only one type of gazelle diff? > if I just ask for a diff from a gazelle am I gunna get the H190 I need for my stanza? > > Dave > > This message was sent through MyMail http://www.mymail.com.au --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
