Hi All,
We are having a few problems with
the headlights in my 1600 and were hoping that there might be a 'quick fix' of
some kind. They were working perfectly then suddenly after a trip to the
coast they decided to stop working completely - thats all 4 of
them.
We have checked the wires going to
the lights and there seems to be power to all of them - 3 pins in the
outer lights and 2 pins in the inner lights - shouldnt there be no power to at
least 1 of these to allow for an earth? We have checked the earth on the bonnet
puller and it's all still connected nice and tight. All the other lights work -
indicators, parkers, tail-lights etc.
If you earth one of the wires to
the drivers side lights they come on but this of course means that the
switch doesnt work - it bypasses it - but we can see from this that none of
the bulbs are blown.
Help!!! We are completely stumped
on this one, really hoping someone can help.
Thanks,
Charlotte.
:)
