Well thats a tad vague, but here goes...
ive got a 600x400x67 core in the front of mine but with end tanks it ends up
almost 800mm wide, and then you have to plumb piping to it. The amount of
metal depends on your pipin, as a result of mine ive had to get rid of the
park light and indicator set up, and the high beams. It also took a bit of
modifying of the valance panel, but the radiator support panel is left
intact and operational. But the biggest aint always the best, if your not
pushin a huge amount of boost then you wont need it. Similarly if you use a
large turbo at a lower boost level you wont heat the air as much due to
increased efficiency, again negating the need for such a large cooler.
Andrew Smith on the list runs 25+ psi thru his L20 turbo and uses water
injection, which can be effective if you remember to fill it and use a
proper pressurized set up. My core with tanks cost 745 but it was worth a
lot more than that as i got it thru a friend. So basically it comes down how
much you want to cut out, how you want to mount it and where u want your end
tanks.
