Mark,

I agree with you, but I've only used what you'd call cheap ring sets etc a
couple of times and not had a good run with them. There could be a couple of
brands that are somewhere in the middle ground that are quite suitable for
rebuilding a fill in engine - it's a bugger when you runner falls apart a
couple of months before it's being retired. If you've had good results out
of cheaper stuff then by all means recommend them as I don't have a problem
at all with that.

hi, being  dearer doesnt mean that they are always better, . i`ve  reringed
about 3  L series, an d few holden 6`s and they`ve all lasted more than 2
years.  one L  series on cheap rings (bluebird) lasted 4 and half years.
 who says they are designed to last  that long?, a month or two?

how can they last a month or two  when they come with  warranty ,12 months?
