dogleg box

Hi all,           Can anyone tell me what is special about the Stanza Dogleg `box?  The one i have is supposed to have C/R 1-2-3 and normal 4-5. It also has a slight noise similar to MGB`s and Austin Healy Sprites in 1-2-3 but not as loud.
