The
DR30 front discs are all vented but they have those poxy one piece hubs so you
have to use the DR30 or Bluey struts. It's a lot of stuffing around they tell me
and they aren't just a matter of changing the spring perch as the spindle angle
is different to a 1600 and I guess the ball joint recess is to. You could try
Bluey steering arms with the DR30 struts, they just might even fit. I gotta find
me a Gazelle at the wreckers one day and do some measuring as they have the same
diameter disc as the R30 but it's on a normal 2 piece hub.
regards,
Terry

Subject: Re: R30 front BrakesThanks Damien,I have been told there are two types ie: solid and vented, is this correct? I was told the vented discs were from an import model, is this correct also? What type did you have? All R30's were 'imported', but AFAIK they all used vented front discs. Perhaps the DR30's (FJ20T) used bigger front brakes, but I really don't know.
