Good handling and braking, then add high Kw/Kg that's the secret. What's
your mates 1200 got in it.
A mate here had a 13B turbo in his 1200 ute drag car and that was quick. All
tubbed rears etc.

Cheers

I had a good laugh today.I was at a mates workshop when this guy pulls
in driving a wrx.He was chasing some go fast parts and got talking about
how fast his wrx was.Everyone started to brag how fast there car was and
the guy with the wrx laid down the challenge.Tim was quick to take up
the challenge saying that a near stock wrx would have no hope against
his 1200 ute.The guy with the wrx was so sure his car would win he even
proposed a rather large bet.He even went as far as playing for keeps.Tim
being the nice guy suggested that he would take him in for a drive in
the ute before he lost his car.About 15 mins later they returned and the
wrx owner got out of the ute wearing a shade of green on his face and
shaking like a leaf.Tim reckons the guy was holding on for his life and
actually screamed when coming into a corner at 8200rpm in top gear. The
guy had to wait 1/2 an hour before he stoped shaking enough to drive his
own car.All he kept saying was fark that thing is quick.I asked him if
the bets were still on and he just said the rex is a slug compared to
that.He couldnt believe how well the datto handled and stoped. He is
definately interested in getting his wrx to go fast now.
