Title: RE: sheep stations
Ross,

There are imported Nissan Leopards in Aus, but they are the sort of car that you have to spot in the car park or in the Japanese  embassy here in Canberra (they have at least 2 of them) and read the badge as you wouldn't know what they are if you saw it on the road The J Ferrie version is a go fast (damn fast) version of a luxury tourer and I think they are and aftermarket job (Malcolm correct me if I'm wrong). I think they use the VH44 (again could be wrong on this), V8 anyway and it's very similar to the base engine that was developed for use in the IRL Indy Car (not CART, the other ones).

I really should not have written much about these as I don't know a lot about them, but they are bulk ugly IMHO (sorry Malcolm), have everything that opens and shuts (Lexus level) and fairly honk especially on the freeway. I used to have a picture of one but can't seem to find it, may be Malcolm has a pic to upload for us all to see.

regards
Terry

OK, i obviously haven't been around on this list long enough. What the hell is this 'leopard' you keep mentioning. i am intrigued now.

Presumably a NZ only jap import?

We miss out on all the good jap cars here in Aus.

    from the leopard,,,(yeah harr) :-)
    A R32(stock) GTR pulls 5000Rpm at 180Kph,The leopard pulls 3200Rpm at
180Kph both cars red line around 7900Rpm
