Hi listers,

After getting my L20B 1600 up and running, it has come time to take it in to vicroads
to change the engine number :(
I have a few problems that i need to sort out first,

1. I have a big fat loud 45mm weber stuck on the side of it. If i put a stock L20B
carby on it when i take it to vicroads, they won't be so eager to tell me i need an
engineers cert. I want them to think the L20 is standard - ie: slow :)
Has anyone got a standard carby on their L20B, or has one lying around and would like
to swap for a day so i might be able to get my engine number changed? I will be able
to lend my 45mm weber and linkages to anyone who can help me out if they need to keep
their car running on the day i take it in.
Alternatively, if anyone wants to sell their carby let me know!

2. Should the breather on the rocker cover be connected to anything? Would it be a
good idea to connect this before i take it to vicroads?

Has anyone else taken their car to vicroads to get their engine number changed? If so,
how stringent are they? Do they look hard to find anything they could knock you back
on?
I was told that they only need you to come in to vicroads so that they can read the
engine number off your engine, and also so that you can prove you have bought the
engine, and then they just change your details.
Any advice from anyone who has gone through this process would be great.

Cheers,
Mark.
