Try driving in a car (more than likely on the way home from a kids birthday party) with helium balloons on strings in the car. As you brake or turn the balloons move back rather than forward under braking and also tends to lean into the corner.
Somone else can explain the physics, but is fun to watch how much the air in the car moves around under those forces.

Mark,
Imagine a room full of helium. Now place a baloon full of helium in it.
What happens?
