Hey guys, I finally got to drive my car today!!!! But that's as far as my jubilation went. I drove it steadily up the street not taking it past 3 grand, blow off valve worked well too. Turned around at the top of the street and on the way back the turbo started to make a noise like the bearings were starved for oil. I immediately clutched the car dropped it out of gear and rolled down the street with the engine idling. It does really sound like dry bearings(its a roller bearing turbo) but to my surprise when I took the oil feed off and ran the engine, it pumped out a shitload of oil( the feed that is) I've had the car running before this and even on the dyno and it hasn't misbehaved at all. My only conclusion is that the drainage side of the turbo is blocked but I can't be sure as when I take of the inlet fitting there is a small puddle of oil that won't drain away. The noise gets louder as the engine revs get higher. The oil is really black as well, would this have anything to do with it? Any advice would be appreciated as I'm supposed to finish tuning the old girl tomorrow and drive out of this place by tuesday at the latest.
