Yep, it has no play in the shafts and its got a dirty big K&N filter on it. The turbo was in perfrect condition when I bought it. It had been pulled straight from the import motor when the owner dropped the RB25det into his silvia and replaced with a brand new turbo. There is no way I want to shell out for a new turbo considering I paid good money for this one and now it won't go. The car is still here in Isa but I don't want to ship it down as it would cost me 600 bucks to get it to brisy, 500 - 1000 to get the turbo fixed and tricked up a little, 400 bucks for insurance, 500 - 600 to get it tuned. 100 bucks for mod plate etc etc. I've already spent about 7 grand on this little project (i'e. engine swap doing everything myself and can't justifying spending anymore) I know I sound like a tight arse but considering we have the gear here to tune it at no cost and a few other things that will cost me to do it in Brisy. I'm honestly considering selling the car as is (just needs a turbo and a tune) and sinking my savings into a 1600 with an FJ etc that is already to go. It just pisses me off no end that the whole thing was running sweetly ready to have the tuning finished off and then drive back to brisy. I have to be out of here by tuesday morning so there is stuff all way that I could have it fixed and ready to go by then since there are no turbocharging places here in the Isa.
