Not Penetrine, Mick, that's for loosening rusty threads.

Penetrol is a rust treatment that works very well in hard to get at spots
stabilising the rust and leaving a very thin, shiny coating that stops
further rust.  It comes in a pressure pack can, or in 4 litre and 20 litre
tins.  4 litres cost $64 so if you only have a bit to do, go for the spray
pack.  I used 2 spray packs on a number of cars before I bought the 4 litre
tin.
