When i was living in sydney i bought an x pursuit vc comm from the auctions. They
were special homologated versions for the police and helped the hdt to get a few
extra mods for the touring cars of that era. They had L34 spec heads and rods
with a 750 holley and genie extractors and different inlet manifold. The camshaft
has TQ30 stamped on the end and had a bit of a lump at idle.A few years later a
mate was working for Rymec turbochargers and did quite a few mods on several
pursuit cars that were used to catch the porsches in the snowy mountains
area.Apparently they used some porsches themselves in later years.
