You will have to separate the Master cyl and booster and remover the connecting rod. On the booster end of the rod, there is a cylindrical steel part that fits into a cupped section within the booster. Normally, the rubber disc (3mm thick and 25mm across) is stuck to the end of the steel connecting rod.
If not, then you will have to get someone with small fingers to feel around inside the booser and try to get it out. You may even need to take the booster out of the car to do this. Good luck.
