Andrew,   I think you're correct here - I can't think of a production car that used that turbo but I've seen them fitted aftermarket on all sorts of things, even bikes and buggies but never on a Datto - something a bit different there. It's made by Borg Warner and I've only ever seen them on the Isuzu MPR Truck and I think a Mazda commercial aka 1990 vintage.
