Terry, Thanks for that. I pulled 4 heads today at the local pickapart - 2 A87 and 2 W53 - before finding one with stainless (ULP capable) valve seats.
Can a A87 be made out of a W53 by removing 2cc from the chamber?? If so, what area should the material be taken from? Im thinking I only want a nice streetable L18SS-esque kind of engine - everything more mild than wild...
