Hi Rick,

165-175 F is OK for the temperature.

45kpa oil pressure is ok for idle, a little on the lowish side, but it
should go up when you rev it to 300-400kpa.

Cheers,

Chris

Subject: Terry / Everyone - Urgent-Temp and oil pressure questions?

Hi there guys and girls,
Due to some sad circumstances my wagon is off the road, so I finally had
to pull my finger out and get the SSS 510 of mine running again.
So I can keep on going to TAFE till I sort out the wagon.

I will update you all on what has happened to the wagon as soon as I
work out what happened, I do not know myself at the moment.

Anyhow the SSS hasn't been running for over two years, maybee three
years ? she had a noisy water pump.

I bolted in the water pump at 1am this morning and wow she started first
time, my question is what temperature in farenheight should she be
running at normal temperature, 165 to 175 Farenheight???

And what oil pressure should she be running 45 Kpa ??

I don't want to damage her, hense the questions.

Thanks in advance guys.

Rick White.
