I took a L20B short block in a few years back I supplied a set of new 89mm flat top pistions,They bore'd it xrayed it ,ground the crank,decked the block and put the short block back together and it cost under $500nz. Plus I got it back with the remains of a full gasket set.
It was cheaper when i picked it up than the quoted me when I dropped it off,Not being in a hurry also helps when getting work done..
