I use a stock set of 200B springs on 240K or 200B struts for ACT rego passing purposes - they're out in a 1600 at the moment for that very purpose, but Steve's at Qbn has heaps of them just lying about the place - I think $10 each gets you some.

Q. What's a good recommendation for springs, given the car is lowered at the rear and runs an F20T motor? Couple of calls around the susp. places say "mate go back to standard too pass rego". I'm thinking of having a go at doing this myself, seems the spring compressor tool is the only specialist bit I need but I really have no idea other than following steps 1,2,3.. in the old Gregory's manual! Mark (feeling a little more motivated now I've prioritised my 24 rego jobs into minor/major/can't do myself with only 2 in the last group, hell one if I embark on some rust removal.) --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
