there is a guy in renmark here that had a gopher( scooter thingy...) and got it taken away from him cause he was drinking all the time while driving it........................:-(

As far as i know they it doesn't rattle.
Apparently they are replced because the scooter thigns slow down. They only go crawling pace instead of walking pace.

Those old people are speed demons too you know.

    This may be of interest to some of the more electrically minded people on
    the list.

    My family has a tralier sailer and yesterday my mum scored a new battery for
    it. There is a place in bayswater which sell those mobility aid
    wheelchair/scooter things for older people. Apparently this guy had a pallet
    of used batteries out of the wheelchair things that are past it for that but
    still good for low current jobs, like boat lighting. They seem to be the dry
    gel type ones. Mum paid $10 for a big one for our boat.

    Just thought it may be of interest.
