Rick… There an Aussie Ford Focus Zeetec, which is cheaper than the American ZX3 (Same car)…
look a bit harder. The responsive 1.8 litre also
happens to be a DOHC 16v… -james -----Original Message-----
Here are the links for both
countries BASE MODEL Ford Focus. The Australian Version says(Powered
by a responsive 1.8 litre engine with 5-speed manual transmission, or an
optional 2.0 litre engine with 4-speed automatic transmission, the CL is packed
with outstanding features.) The American version says(2.0L 16V
DOHC Zetec I-4 engine for the same base model) As I have said before, Australian
base models are crap, no other country in the world would buy them. How can anyone say the Australian
base models are cheaper than the American base model when they don't even
compare in the specs?? I am confused. Later.
