DOH! i just re-covered my dash and i'm sure it was non uv stable... i just thought it might fade faster.

Yes I had the same problem a couple of years ago when I re-covered my dash
in my Orange 1600 sedan.
The problem was I had been sold, Non UV Stable vinyl.
The cheap stuff bleads the fumes out heaps.
I forgot about this when I read your first post.
It never stops spewing it out either.
I ended up searching for the UV stable stuff.
Problem solvered.
