Stock Z22 is actually 87x92 for 2389cc but yea can
go to 89 or even 90mm for an easy medium-block 2.4 litre with a Z24 crank (which
must be ground to fit the Z22 block in the same manner as to fit an L20b
block) Much less risky than trying to take an L20b to 89mm.
Z20S blocks are supposed to be better than Z20E
blocks as they have siamesed cylinder walls, but as for how far they can go i
wouldn't know. I do have a junk Z20E block I could slice up to find out
though :)
