Julian, The best product I've used for weather strips and automotive trim bits is Loctite "Contact Adhesive and Trim Cement" and I recommend that you get it in a tin and not a tube as it's easier to apply and doesn't get all over you (I hate that.) If you use this stuff make sure you really want things to be stuck as you get one go as it sticks stuff together for keeps. I've seen it a REPCO and I guess most automotive parts places would stock it.
