Originally when I pitted my 1600 wagon, I had the whole no cracks in the seats. I have no idea what the reason was for. Maybee they recon your bum might get pinched in a crack and you loose concentration. I have no idea. I fixed mine with black race tape. As I had run out of funds at that stage, no extra cash for seat covers. Later.
