hey list

i am going to rebuild either a 2 litre or a 1.8 l series to put in my 1600. i have a 1.8 with a a87 head on it and it did go alright but i have a 2 litre also..thats had a bit of work done to it...but its getting a bit tired...its good a fairly good cam in it revs really nicely...

well am i able to put the a87 on the 2 litre to lift the compression up and if i got some head work done to it would that make much of a power increase...i have a set of delrotos (spelling) on a ported and polished manifold.. and i will match port the manifold to the head to increase flow..

what costs am i looking at for a full rebuild with new rings, bearings, gaskets anything i am forgetting ....

what would be a hp figure i would be looking at..with this set up or something someone suggests..
