Oh I completely agree. I just wanted to make the point that huge rear wings are not always a good thing. As Errol said, laminar airflow around the entire car is what you want. I was actually thinking about (very abstractly) an inverted wing which ran the entire length of the underside of the car. This coupled with a smoothed underbody would provide higher pressure flow above the wing/spoiler than on top and would suck the car to the road. The fact thats its completely impractical.. well.. :)
