As far as I know that doesn't apply to motorkana cars considering many of them were daily drivers in some of the events I have attended. You get a free logbook with your CAMS licence though, so I kept records but no one ever asked to see it, not even for hillclimbs.

Man speaking of which, that was fun! Hill climbs that is, I went to an dirt hillclimb a while ago, need a few more requirements though, needed bonnet pins, fire extingusher, ankle to wrist clothing, a helmet and everything had to be removed from the car, contents of the glove box, jack, spare tire, everything. Just as well cause some guy rolled his Celica, wouldn't want things flying around in a roll over. Those requirements aside, the car was still my daily driver and road legal. I was a member of the Gippsland Car Club, great club that, has about 300 members and owns its own hillclimb track and motorkana area. Can't have any fun here in the ACT all the forrests and dirt roads are chained off :(

Do you need to have your car log booked to run in a motorkhana?
