Eric has a good point. I forgot the Stumpy skyline box is the same length as the original 1600 4 speed and the gear shift does need to be cranked back towards the driver to reach it comfortably. You could heat any of the other sticks to bend them back , being careful to cool slowly so as not to make them brittle, as they would break in use.
Eric, The Bluey 2 fits OK? I looked at it and noticed it has a bit more sound deadening "engineering" around the pivot pin, which requires larger side plates housing the stick in the Bluey box.
