Andrew,
If you run a S2 BB electric pump you don`t need a regulator.
The pressure isn`t high, it just flows more.
Aftermarket pumps maybe another story, so you will have find out what
pressure they run at.
I have this pump on my car now still with the 32/36 and it doesn`t run out
of fuel.
