doesn't Z24 crank, L20b Rods and Z20 pistons only make a 2.1 or 2.2L motor, not a 2.4
I don't think you can get to 2.4L by using standard datsun parts, you'd need the Z24 crank but the rods and pistons (or pistons at least) have to be custom sizing...... I could be wrong though, I just remember something like that when I was working out my stroker motor a while back Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: "mark krawczuk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, September 10, 2003 6:14 PM Subject: Re: How do i build a 2.4L L series > hi, ohhh boy here i go again. > > > you need a nissan navara 2.4 crank, get the counter weights ground down to > 200b engin (2ltr size) > mains and conrods are same as z series,l series. > > you need 2.00ltr conrods, z series pistons. to suit. > notch the bottom of cylinder bores. > and where the oil gallery runs inside the block to the front of engine u > need to grind abit away on that as well for clearance. > > anything else: > email me: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > mark k > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Weapon510" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, September 10, 2003 5:20 PM > Subject: How do i build a 2.4L L series > > > > hey list > > > > i want to build a 2.4 Litre L series for my 1600.. > > > > what do i need to build one.. and the specs that i need like bore, > > piston height etc.... > > > > any help would be great... i want something different for my datto.. > > > > > > cheers johnty > > > > > > > > > > --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
