Ahhh the joys of not trying to fit within group N categories, mate I would love to take you up on your offer as I am at springwood but as I intend to log book this car to Group N then i have to keep a 4 speed in it

Jeff I think its time for a 5 speed. Easily sourced from most wreckers. Don't be fazed by having to get a tailshaft shortened either. Its commonly done, my last one cost me $75. Lots of Nissan/Datsun 5 speeds to choose from too so have a look in the ozdat archives for all the arguments about "dogleg vs longer". If ur on the Gold Coast I am clearing my Datto shed this weekend and I'd probably have a spare 5 speed there I don't want to have to move....
