Heath,

when you join the club it doesnt matter what category your car is.
you nominate the category when you complete your entry form for each event.

what sort of car & what mods ?
it will probably fall into improved production/road registered category.
you will also need a cams level 2s licence.
there a few minor things that you need to sort out for race day

1. road registered cars need a 3rd pary extension or rally extension
   you get if from the 3rd party insurer on your rego - i use suncorp cause
there is no charge
2. you need a fire extinguisher mounted on a metal bracket
3. you need a catch tank for you radiator overflow
4. you need secondary bonnet restraints - even an old belt will do the job.
5. long clothes - no nylon - and helmet.

i have forms ready to join MG,
but i must email them, because i don't know what catergory my car will fall
in.
as i want to know before i join.
