Hard to say until I actually put longer ones on.  Provided the camber change offsets the change in control arm length, then it should be no worries.  I just checked the car and it should be fine.  As I've mentioned, mine are +12p offset. If you have a +20p offset it would decrease your track width by 16mm and hence offer a bit more guard clearance.

My guards are rolled as well if I forgot to mention that which helps out the clearance.  Talk to performance themselves about their offsets, they are a reasonable bunch of blokes.

Cheers

Daniel,
That sounds very good. So your not worried about clearance issues on the front when you put on the lengthened control arms?

Thanks

Subject: Re: !6 x 7 superlites Rims fit perfectly

To Chris:  there is plenty of meat as to go from a +12p to +20p Performance just machine 8mm off the bolt up face, as told to me by a reputable Performance employee.  I run 200B struts on the front and that's it.  Control arms are standard 1600, but I want to really lengthen them to look after the tyres better.

Andrew:  A chamfer is machine on the bolt up face side of the center hole of the rim.  This locates (centres) the rim on the hub properly and ensures it runs true.  What happens these days is that every rim made (regardless of what car it's designed for) has a single size generic centre hole size and hence chamfer.

This means the centre hole and chamfer can be too big allowing the rim to move around on the hub and not center properly.  To fix this you buy little plastic inserts (rings) that take up the required thickness between the centre hole and the locating device on your hubs.  You'll see what I mean if you pull a rim off and and look at the centre hole as well as your hub.  They also have a small chamfer machined on their inside to locate the rim properly and make sure they runs true.

Hope this cleared things up

Daniel - excellent news re the rims - could you pls describe the use of
the plastic inserts a little more as Im not familiar with them?

Thanks,
Andrew
