I dont know about visual pictures, but there are a number of satellite
laser ranging facilities arround the world that regularily do laser
ranging to retro reflectors (basically two mirrors at right angles to
each other) that were dropped off by the apollo missions. The facility
that I work at are gearing up to start doing the laser ranging to the
moon this year. The pics of laser ranging in action are pretty cool:
