The car is all together and it probably doesn't have a spigot bush as it was an auto. Obviously I have to pull the bush out of the spare L16 that I got the clutch and flywheel from. Damn shame, the Stanza is working fine now but I suppose the extra stresses on the gearbox input shaft will probably stuff the oil seal or something? I noticed a bit of sideways play in the shaft before assembly. I wish I had posted a "anything I should know about changing an auto to a manual box?" on the list - before I started. I use a tap (thread cutting type). Just find an appropriate size, wind it into the bush and when the tap touches the crank, it simply winds the bush out.
