My freind with the 68 pressie(H150) 280ZX ,GTR R32  has now got a heart problem and needs a by pass and new valve..
 
He has made his mind up to sell the 280,, and the pressie.

I probley can get the car/s to C.A for very little..
 
Pressie is bog stock ,,not very rusty ,needs a head (may have been fixed?)was on the road a couple of years ago..99.9% complete and factory.V8  black in colour.
 
The 280ZX is a 2 seater fully worked L28 with triples ,5 speed ,lsd diff, fully rose jointed front and rear.fully ajustable struts, Lovey roll cage ,you dont even see unless you look hard.
Was stripped to a bare shell in 1989 and bare metaled, No rust ,No bog, only bog is in the bonnet (which is a 280ZXT unit).
Fitzy is 52 yo panel beater all of his life, he done this while he owned a paint and panel shop,,He said the paint job would have been $12,000nz if someone had to pay ,plus 100's of hours on panel, all filled and sanded body work.
Colour is blood red (he said it needs a 500ml respray, Thats 500ml to repaint the whole car).
Bumpers door handles are all Blood red , window edges are all black...Hotted 280Z I've ever seen here..
 
Engine is out //LD28 crank came loose so put L28 crank back in..
asking $10,000USD for the Z car and offers on the pressie..
 
I know the Z has been in the shed for over three years with a cover on,I could get some pic's with not too many problems.
This car has had probley well over $20,000nz spent on it not counting the panel and paint..If you were the type of person that just pays for all to get done probley would have not much chage from 50G when built in 1989,I'm sure he said engine was 12G alone.
I just told him as for the R32 GTR that will be looked after very well in my shed if needed and I promise to take it out every month for a blow out the cobwebs. he lauged.
 
Fitzy with being a panel beater Knows a good car and he loves Datsuns, even thou hes retired now he will still do work only on Datsun/Nissans, He thinks the rest should just rot.
 
If it wasnt for the heart thing he would have been putting a RB26DETT back into the Z with a 6 speed..The reason the engine never went back in.
