A standard street style surge tank is relatively easy to construct. Here is a link from a site in the US, but don't fit the tank in the engine bay as that's illegal in most part of Oz. http://www.sdsefi.com/techsurge.htm
 
Some well made reasonably priced surge tanks I've seen are available from Maztek, also Rallyart & they should both have outlets in Melbourne.

I am in melbourne eastern suburbs...
I am going to see what EFI hardware in mitcham have to offer tomorrow but thought i would see if someone on the list knew of somewhere better to go..
