You'd probably want to be a bit more specific mate, you can buy most stuff in any car-parts shop here in Aus, so if you need a full gasket kit (or VRS kit) you will probably find it easier to get someone here to buy you one and post it over to you.
If you need bits like pistons, rings, rods, bearings then you might be able to get that kind of stuff from places like ACL.
 
If it were me though, i'd go to the nearest generic engine builder and start ordering parts, they usually have all the contacts to get whatever you want. The trouble with older engines though, is that you don't really know what has already been done before, whether stuff is oversize, undersize, etc... So in the end it's usually easier (cheaper) to either get a reconditioned engine, or a 2nd hand one thats in better condition.
 
There are also a couple of suppliers on Ozdat who could get you any bits you need too.
 
You ought to hunt around for a good L20 or Z20E and get it shipped over there, Errol gets Z20E's on www.datrats.com.au which would make your car go a lot better than the L16.
