I installed a stromberg carb off a holden 186 on a 1300 ford escort once.

it went better......you could hear it sucking air from three blocks away, it was louder than the exhaust :)

can you get the correct mounting plate ?

flow rate on a carb like that would be big...400-500 cfm ?????

you could end up running too rich depending on jets/head configuration
