I do have an all rubber type 1600 fuel filler line. It has red overspray on it that you may wish to remove before installing.

Luke, my son, has fixed up a persistant leaking fuel filler line caused by cracking around the flaired end, by using a sealant behind the metal filler cap backing plate.  I will try to find out what the product was.

Yeah they seem to all be somewhat deteriorated in most 1600’s.. it would be good to find a later model swap over neck but I have had a look at my local wrecker and nothing looks like an easy swap L

Rick – if you can verify you do have one of the rubber ones in your garage let me know! I would be very interested….

Thanks,

Mark

I think I have the full length rubber variety lying in my shed.

Subject: petrol filler needed

I need to find a 1600 petrol filler pipe that goes from the tank to the petrol cap…

The one I have is a metal pipe with rubber at either end but the rubber at the petrol cap end is very cracked and hard and I can’t get it to fit… I have seen the whole section made out of rubber in some 1600’s, I don’t care which one I get as long as it fits J

Has anyone got one they want to sell me??

I am in Melbourne

Thanks

Mark
