Andrew,

Yes that's correct, we use Skyline/Pintara R31 fillers in the 1600 for an
unleaded upgrade for turbos etc to comply with NSW RTA regs. Reasonably easy
to do.

regards
Terry.

Hi Mark,

I think there's some info on fuel filler donors in the archives. As Rick
and Terry have mentioned before a 180b tank including fuel filler and
everything fits in a 1600. I think Terry has also used a skyline filler? I
replaced my cracked rubber one with one from a 180b - required a bit
of squashing in there because a 180b tank inlet is at a slightly different
height. I also used some fuel sealant that Ford used to seal against
fumes which you can borrow if you want (its at Croydon at the
moment).

You can have a look at the setup on Sunday,
Andrew

cracking around the flaired end, by using a sealant behind the metal filler
cap backing plate. I will try to find out what the product was.

be good to find a later model swap over neck but I have had a look at my
local wrecker and nothing looks like an easy swap L

t care which one I get as long as it fits J
