Overboost cut is usually controlled (in mid 80's nissan turbos) by a
thing that looks like a bicycle bell and screws into the manifold via a 1"
irrigation sized screw hole. You unscrew this and you screw in a
irrigation plug stopper type of thing. It's the same thread, and I paid 50c
of mine at the hardware store.
As for
setting up wastegates, i'll email you a diagram that shows you how to plumb it
all together to make it work however you want. You just need some 1/4" brass rod
or aluminium rod, and a el-cheapo imperial drill set. All you do is cut off
pieces of rod around 1-2cm long and drill holes thru them to make bleed jets. I
have used this setup on many T2, T25, T28 turbos, and also just recently tried
it in a T3 for the first time and it works.
No
need to adjust wastegate springs, etc.
