Mohit, I think they are about 120Hp stock at the flywheel from memory. A standard L20B, like the supposedly "high output" black cam cover version I had in my 1600 was a little disappointing after driving a warm L18. The L20B doesn't seem to rev very high, out of puff by 5500 rpm or so with twin 38mm SU's and a 2 1/4" exhaust. My L18 used to go to 8500 rpm with the same setup. Maybe you get a bit more torque lower down with L20B, but in stock form, it's a little boring to drive. You would need to work them a bit to get some excitement out of them. e.g. higher compression ( forged, flat-top pistons), porting, twin 45mm Webers and a performance cam. Cheaper to buy one already worked. There is a guy here in WA selling a stroked 2.4 litre L20B with twin 45s for $1500. Cheers, Rob ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mohit K.
